Butter paper(sulfuric acid paper)
Time: 11 Dec,2024 | 308 reviewsButter paper has good ink absorption for spray painting, is resistant to high temperatures without deformation, and exhibits excellent laser printing, electrostatic printing/copying, and blueprint durability. It is suitable for design drafting, CAD plotters, blueprint making, engineering electrostatic copying, etc.
Butter paper, commonly known as sulfuric acid paper, is a type of hard, thin-film material formed by interlacing fine plant fibers, which undergo free beating in a wet state, without the application of sizing or fillers, during papermaking. The paper is then immersed in 72% concentrated sulfuric acid for 2-3 seconds, washed with clean water, treated with glycerol, and dried. Sulfuric acid paper is characterized by its solid and dense yet slightly transparent texture, strong resistance to oil and water penetration, airtightness, and high wet strength, making it waterproof, moisture-resistant, oil-resistant, and capable of sterilization and disinfection.
